![]() ![]() I totally adored Falling Into You, Nell, Kyle and Colt’s story, even though I cried like an absolute baby for so much of it… so when I found out that there was a book #2, I was over the moon. My heart broke, then swelled, then shattered, then warmed… Oh goodness, I was a mess. I’m wavering between five and five + stars with this one… it was so beautiful, yet so tragic. I should have read this when it first came out. Why did somebody not yell at me to read this sooner? I blame you. Wooowww! Awwww, swoon! *sigh* I’m slightly incoherent, can you tell? Love drunk, I think you might call it. He had no way of knowing the tragedies and triumphs he would experience, or that in Becca, he might find the love of a lifetime. He had no way of knowing, then, how that one date would send him on a life-long journey with Becca. ![]() Instead, he ended up going out with Nell’s best friend, Becca. One would expect a story like the frog prince to be rife with magic and fairies and princes but the story of the frog prince is almost a gloss over the true story of the book.Įmma is a British aristocrat that got trapped in her mother's ancestral home in Belgium on the Western Front in World War I. There’s war in the Sunlit Lands, but once a year, the young people there set aside time to celebrate Christmas, as they do in Our Last Christmas Together by author Matt Mikalatos.Īdmittedly, I didn’t finish the first novel in the Sunlit Lands fantasy series, The Crescent Stone, but that takes nothing away from the characters.
